SASRAD have been supplying Fiberoptics Inspection Systems for Contraband Detection for 20 years. Fiberscopes have been sold
to Federal, State and Overseas Customs, Police and Military at a cost $10,000 – $20,000 and if damaged, repairs could
cost as much as $5000 or more.
Sasrad realized there was a need in the market for a lower priced fiberscope which can be used by relatively untrained personnel “right–out–of–the–box” and which will enable easy inspections of hard to reach areas without heavy capital commitment.
The Readyscope was introduced by SASRAD to fulfill this market need. It is priced at less than 10% of the cost of a regular fiberscope in the $500/$1000 range.
The fiberscopes are available from stock for prompt delivery.
The Readyscope is available in either 6mm or 10mm diameter with standard lengths of 24 –36 or 48 inches and custom lengths available to special order.
The Readyscope is simple to use with minimal training – it is priced considerably below the cost of a regular fiberscope, and enables more search officers in the field to be provided with a fiberscope to aid their search for drugs, weapons, explosives etc.
Maintenance is straightforward and is covered in the 2 page instruction manual.
